ST. LUKE’S MEDICAL CENTER and ST. LUKE’S COLLEGE OF
MEDICINE CHOOSES EDS SYSTEM
The
Philippine’s premier medical institution, St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC)
along E. Rodriguez Avenue in Quezon City, recently acquired multiple units
of the EDS FingerID System to upgrade their timekeeping and attendance
monitoring. Currently, SLMC has about 2,500 employees in its sprawling
facility. Engr. EMMANUEL D. SIA, President/CEO of EDS Innoventions,
attributes the success of the system to the fact that it was customized to
conform to SLMC’s advanced IT network infrastructure. “We customized our
software to SLMC’s exacting standards in order to interface with their
legacy Informix as well SQL Server databases. As a medical institution,
SLMC’s operation is considered mission critical therefore EDS has also
provided fault-tolerant capabilities against network disruptions and
server crashes” relates Sia. “We are honored that SLMC choose us among the

SLMC.” EDS Innoventions has supplied its IT products to other prestigious
companies and schools such as DM Consunji, Brent International School and
